I'm intrigued by this one. Adamek was by all accounts hittable vs Estrada and Arreola while pudgy has a good offensive game and power. But Adamek's speed and mobility advantage is worth noting. Overall though I think Adamek has bitten off more than he can chew, and he is going to get stopped. But I'm still gonna be watching this one, excitement is guaranteed no matter the result.
Could Adamek-Arreolla be a classic or a mis-match?

i see a classic fight. if adamek sticks to his gameplan and boxes on the outside i see him winning a ud.But something tells me he will have success early and start to brawl and throw combos like he does in all of his fights. should be a great fightComment

This will be a war, there's really no other way I can see it. That's why I'm hard pressed to pick a winner. The questions to be answered are:
Can Adamek deal with Arreola's heavy pressure, power, output, and combinations?
Adamek is a calm and collected customer that's been in wars before, I can't see him just crumbling under Arreola's pressure. I can see Arreola's power, underrated output, and combinations being a huge problem though. We've seen Adamek hurt recently against Cunningham.
Can Arreola deal with Adamek's speed, lateral movement, body punching, and power?
Adamek didn't look as fast against Estrada as he did against Golota. Arreola got hit a lot by Chazz Witherspoon and knocked down by Walker so speed might be a problem. He handled McCline's speed pretty good though. Lateral movement will be Arreola's biggest problem, but he's seen it before. Vitali hit Arreola with a few body shots (but not as much as Adamek will), 300 punches in all, and kept coming so he has the chin. If he can take it to the body, he'll be looking pretty good.
I'm leaning slightly toward Arreola right now, because Arreola is confident and there's nothing Adamek can do that will keep Arreola from getting his in.Comment

Adamek the favorite??? Arreola's gonna knock him out, no question. Adamek isn't made to battle with guys like Arreola.
This is great news to me. I'm going to put some money on Arreola right away.Comment

Two things...
1. I've heard Arreola is in really good shape, so... bad news for Adamek.
2. Adamek is not a boxer by trade. He's more of an aggressive boxer-puncher who tries to put on pressure.
The slugger usually beats the pressure fighter because he is right in front of him for the big punches to land. Also, Adamek has a good chin, but let's not forget that light punching Cunningham had Adamek hurt pretty badly.Comment

Nah. I think its going to be a good fight. Adamek is going to win a close decision.Im on the fence on this one.
Part of me is saying Adamek was rushed into this fight vs. the much boigger real heavyweight with real power.
Then part of me think if Chris is sloppy and fat he could possibly have problems with Adameks speed and the fight could be a battle.Comment

Please tell me how Arreola has a granite chin?Mismatch. This was the worst possibly choice of opponents for Adamek. He might control the early rounds with his skill, but eventually Arreola will catch him and destroy him brutally. Its not like Arreola is a slow paced fighter. He has pretty good handspeed despite his size, and he'll catch up to Adamek with his constant pressure and granite chin.Comment
