ummm, explain to me where the hell did i say it was ok to call ppl dergatory words??? corolla's words were mean spirited, but a lot of ppl on the board said they werent really racist. i dnt think they were racist, they were in bad taste and mis informed, but i see no racial prejudice in anything they said.

i dnt condone, ****. what i said is hes a comedian he says **** that's aimed at making fun of ppl. theres a line tho. the guy from seinfeld, went around shoutting "he's a ******, he's a ******!". that was not funny, that was racist. if corolla would have came out and said sumthin about the phillipino people being "slanty eyed ****s" that would not be funny, that would be racist. i dnt find the type of thing when u call another race historically derogatory terms funny. i kno the history behind those words. ppl have lost their lives because of them, they were used to justify the mistreatment and the segregation of these ppl. i see the difference. if u cant, im sorry for u.

dude, if u dnt understand the history behind that word, u can understand why its derogatory. u can say whatever u want about corolla's remarks but he could have said that about any group of ppl from any country and a few of them would be upset and a few of them would think nothing about them. u say giudo to the face of some italians in nyc, and u might go missing and others would be seriously offended. thats the truth! u say the n word to some black pp and theyd be ready to fight u. sure some of the younger italians and blacks might refer to themselves by those terms, but that dnt make it ok for others to refer to them as such. thats almost univeral, those words have negative histories and i get that. u dont obviously.
