RIP Edwin. I never knew the man but i knew the boxer and i really liked him. I watched all of your fights and training clips, i was one of your fans! I dont like to judge people especially without knowing them and the facts of a situation but it's become obvious you needed help and im just so sorry you didnt get it in time. You had a gift and it was a pleasure to see, it's just so unfortunate things ended up this way. I know how dark life can get and what depression and substance abuse can do to a man, it almost destroyed me i cant believe it destroyed you. I'd be lying if i said i wasnt feeling sad today i wanted you to win! beat the odds! prove people wrong! I loved your style in the ring and i'll miss seeing you box again.
