A lot of people do not confess to crimes. Him killing himself is a clear indication if any. The man deserves to rot in hell, he is a coward. I just hope the kids can learn to blank out that monster and eventually have a happy up bringing.

He clearly had problems. He did a horrible thing, but he is dead now. Only God should judge him. Rest in Peace Valero.

Not really. His wife died. Maybe thats why he killed himself. Its not clear indication he did it.

BTW, im just playing the other side of what could have happened. I think he did it. I think people should chill for a week or so until the final details come out.

I agree to a certain extent about waiting, I did my best to stay out of it and not say it like it is. But you know the damn threads keep popping up. The people who are backing him in terms of making an excuse and wishing him well, I am still shocked. Would they wish every murderer well and make excuses?

They need to understand it does not matter how great a person is in a sport, a human being should be judged on his actions, the actions that defy a person shows who he is and what type of person he is. That action is certainly not his skills in a sport.

Listen, not one person here has said edwin valero didn't do wrong or anything like that. Everyone here understands what he did was monstrous and unthinkable. With that said, RIP to his wife and edwin himself. He was battling some serious internal demons and clearly went off the deep end. Add to that his brain injury, alcoholism and things got very bad very quick. Tragic.

What a tragic tale. Unfathomable. Imust send my wishes to the family of the wife, and the kids. Valero, he gave himself due punishment for his actions. God Bless the dead, and I hope Top Rank and Bob Arum does something for those children, more than he cared for his fighter. Arum needs to take lessons from Lou DiBella. The only one he cares about is pacman. But, regardless, bless the kids and the wife, and Valero, well that speaks for itself.

Agree with you here. I don't usually get shocked at a lot of the outright ridiculous things some of the posters come up with on here. But a few of the posters I thought were descent and I enjoyed reading their posts have surprised me a bit with some of the statements they have made in the last couple of days. You can tell a lot about ones character by the way they react to different things. It's a bit disappointing but hey, it is the internet I suppose.
