smh this guy...he's partly responsible. instead of telling the guy to take time off to deal with the issues he knew he had, he keeps making money off of him. i agree with what he said. but if he really cared, he should have done more. he had the power to.

Too bad he had to kill his wife before he killed himself. Now he has two parentless children who probably will have issues the rest of their life due to this...

Arum's translation: He (Valero) had no respect to make money with me (Bob needs more money Arum).

He was more than likely an alchoholic, not a drugie. All of his past records stem from him drinking and then going nuts.

I bet the only place he could feel free from his troubles was in the boxing ring.

Arum is garbage. Still making a guy fight who couldnt get a real license. He tries to act like he cared about him but he didnt. He only cared about what Valero could do for him. If he cared then he wouldve walked away from him like Dibella did Taylor

He pulled his smartest move? You mean he pulled his most coward and selfish move.

RIP to the young lady that lost her life.

For once I agree with Arum. Valero took the coward way out. he didnt hang himself because he felt guilty killing his wifr. he hanged himself because he didnt want to live in prison his entire life.

arum's pissed because of lost income from future valero fights. valero's fights sells that's why arum's doing all he can to get valero unbanned in the states. valero's death ****ed up arum's plans

I scratched my head when I read that too. Seems like Arum saw a lot of fight potential in Valero when he signed him even after knowing all of those facts. It seems weird to me though that we only started to hear all of this bad rep on Valero the past year or so correct? before that he was pretty much an obscure fighter with only an impressive KO ratio, undefeated record and an internet legend. I really wonder when did he really start to spiral down the way he did, maybe no news ever surfaced to the public because he was so far away fighting in Japan, who knows, such tradegy.
