My Response To Blaming Pavlik's Cutman For

    the loss against Martinez

Some fighters have the will and heart to fight through anything, other's don't. Simple as that.

Vazquez, Katsidis, Gatti all fight through cuts, blaming cuts is for *******. And if Pavlik didn't want to get cut, then maybe he should learn to block Martinez punches better. I guess Martinez was just too slick and fast for Pavlik!

I don't blame Pavliks cutman for the loss, thats ridiculous, but he cutman ******, he needed to give Pavlik the best chance he could, and he didn't.... his whole corner ******.
Would he have won with a better corner? I don't know... but they didn't give him a chance.

No two cuts are the same. Some take the vision because of damage to the nerves. Others take away the vision because of blood running into the eye. And some doesn't have any physical effect other than the pain.

But yeah. Some fighters just seem to fight through everything.

As I've said before. Some fighters can fight well or just as good when they are cut, some can't. Juan Diaz is another example of this. Pavlik was cut badly and just couldn't deal with it. Could he have won without the cut? Possibly.

Did he really blame the cutman? Thats really sad and to be frank i wasnt expecting that from pavlik, The cutman in my view didnt have enough time to stem or close the bleeding, Part of boxing is to cut and sometimes bleed as much i dont like Ricky Hatton he bleed a lot from deep cuts in his earlier fights between 2002-2005 and when Hatton bleeds thats when he steps up his game.
