Why do so many people make predictions like they are 100% gonna happen?

I dont get it?
whenever i say my opinion on a future fight i dont say "he WILL win"
I always say i THINK he will win if they fight.
But too many posters say it like its 100% going to happen!

it makes them look like casual fans that dont understand that anything can happen in boxing.

E.G
all the threads on how Wlad WILL KO Haye.
i'll admit it is a very tough fight for him, but i am still confident he can win, so i say:
"i THINK haye will win"

whereas heres the answer from a wlad nuthugger:
"Wlad will KO Haye, it will be a complete domination, Wlad WILL win easily"


Now if this is something you say, dont you feel like a bit of a **** when your predicitons are completely wrong?
hasnt this taught you not to claim you are certain of a result?

i have seen others bump up threads of schoolboy posters saying these bulls*** predictions before a fight, to then be 100% Wrong!

So why do so many posters talk like they are 100% sure of a result?

what happened to using the words "i think" when predicting a fight?

Also, "I think" is implied.
