Will you be upset if showtime does a minor tribute to Valero this saturday?

It'll bring an odd sense of closure to the whole thing at least from a boxing fan's perspective, the family still has a ton more **** to deal with.
If you don't agree with it, boo or something while its going on. But I don't think its showtimes place to pass judgement.
Ring it only for his wife and family, don't ring it at all for that coward. If they have to do it, they better not ring it for that ****head. He doesn't deserve any respect in the boxing world.

Absolutely. His name will never be mentioned on Showtime again. They wouldn't want to make the same mistake the WWE did with Chris Benoit.

Do we really know he was a good man? He was pretty much under the radar except for the last couple years when he's popularity finally branched over.

I'm wondering if he was a good man till the past year or so, or if his erratic behavior had just been hidden till then.

I know you guys think badly of Valero, and I don't blame you guys. But I think he was out of his ****ing mind, and a straight up one hundred percent lunatic. He certaintly had a lot of mental issues, which i am unware of, yet I can see them through his eyes. I don't think he was even human anymore.

based on the things I've read and heard about him, yes. Plus, he wasn't getting into trouble with the law until the last year or so of his life. Everything started to go down hill so quickly for edwin. Maybe he always had a couple screws loose, maybe he always had some type of mental issues and certain things just triggered those in his final days, or maybe it was due to the brain injury. We don't know what happened. All I know is his life rapidly took a turn for the worst and he was not right in his head in his final days.
