I agree Berto is a more deserving fighter. Pac should fight Berto before a Margarito I agree. Margarito hasn't earned **** and doesn't deserve **** right now...

But, Margarito has a better chance in beating Pac then Berto does.

i agree, berto deserves it. however, berto would get hurt bad.... then he would get no credit for beating him IMO

I agree as well...Berto is alot more credible for manny to consider than any of the Top Rank fighters mentioned thus far. Margarito does not deserve the fight at all and honestly fighting a man that was destroyed by someone you ducked or chose not to fight again is absurd. he already got Cotto who many felt lost to clottey and then Clottey who technically lost the fight to begin with. Berto is alotmore skilled than Cotto or Clottey being that he can actually tie up and won't just run in and eat punches or stand there and allow Manny to land at 20% while not throwing himself.

Berto is much more deserving IMO. I think he could win if he puts up a perfect gameplan, and executes.

Manny hasn't faced anyone that even knew how to tie up a fighter in along time, every fight he has had during the run has been a lumbering straight forward brawler, Berto is a hit and hold fighter and has much better punch resistance on top his hit and hold style that i expect would lower the work rate and manny's energy level considerably. This is a good fight for boxing and finally something legitimate to consider. No hate on this, but let's be honest theres absolutely no reason whatsoever to allow Margarito a fight. Manny's rank and status should not even be considered for a guy who disgraced the sport and was beat like a mule.

i think pac will slaughter berto. berto has not developed a good enough defense to hold off pac's 1000 punches per round.
