    Audley Harrison...

How did he get on tonight?

Did he live up to his 'Fraudley' nickname?

Pretty much. And for some reason they showed Tann vs. some nobody instead of Johnson vs. Diaz.

The crowd booed on multiple occasions.

He still got the journeyman out of there, though, rather than going the distance.

Johnson and Diaz are has-beens. I wonder if Tann will end up fighting Harrison at some point. They both seem to be at similar places in their careers (Harrison beats Tann, though)

Audley Harrison isn't a REAL boxer, he's more of a celebrity boxer.

He likes all the tv show appearences and promotions, and he likes to talk tough... The only part he doesn't like is the fighting part.

Hence the reason he's been a pro for 4 and a half years and not yet fought anybody with a pulse.

                  fight report

                  Here's the fight report:

                  HARRISON RETURNS WITH VICTORY
                  Friday 10th June 2005

Olympic champion Audley Harrison returned from a year out of the ring to beat Robert Davis in seven rounds in California.

Harrison floored Davis, who had won 31 of his 37 previous fights, in the opening round of their bout in Temecula.

And a series of left and right hooks forced the referee to stop the fight, earning the Brit his 18th successive professional victory.

The 33-year-old had not fought since sustaining a hand injury in his victory over Pole Tomasz Bonin.

He said: "It's been difficult for me to have to sit out this past year to heal my injury. I am just glad to be back.

"Once I relaxed and figured out my opponent's tactics, I was able to use my jab, look for opportunities and take advantage of them when I could."

The guy hadn't been in the ring for 13 months, it must of been some hand injury man!
