I won't call him overrated but maybe limited in some areas in his game. I will say this though. Him and Jermain Taylor were probably 2 of the worse MW Champs ever. After the Winky fight Taylor looked bad. After Pav beat Taylor he wasn't fighting any good fighter at MW.

Pavlik was actually underrated in 2007.

The betting odds were 2 to 1 for Miranda to beat him, and most people thought Taylor would easily defeat him too.
