I have Martinez by Decision @ 156.

Floyd should pull a Ray Leonard and fight Martinez at 154 for the WBC JMW championship and for the MW Lineal championship. I give Floyd a better chance then at 154 then I do at 156

difference is leonard had losses. i dont think floyd risks his zero for the amount of money martinez would bring, a 147 fight would make more sense honestly. in a 147 fight, i think floyd out skills martinez to a ud but at i 154 i have martinez by decision.

I picked 156 as i see it as a reasonable catchweight seeing as Martinez has had his last 2 fights above 154, he might, might struggle to make it.

I am not a fan of catchweights but they seem to be becoming the norm nowadays.

Martinez was 167 last night. He can make 154 still.

I agree that Martinez is not a huge LMW, but I cant see Floyd fighting a larger fighter like Sergio unless he could add another belt/at another weight class to his resume.

Unless he was going to make 20-40 million, and i dont see anyone at 154-160 being able to generate that amount of money. Except Cotto but i think if Floyd fights him it will be back at 147.

I don't think he should fight him either. It makes no sense too unless Floyd will start campaigning at 154. I was just playing along with the question.
