To an extent but I know a lot of the hateful posts stem from real hate for the States. I don't think Tunney hates Americans for example but I think a lot of people hate us. We try to play nice but many want to play rough and it gets on my nerves.

Yea they are posters on here who yea like Eastern European fighters and bash Americans. But, there are some American posters on here who do the same thing. I read threads about Euro-bums and this and that.

I think a lot of fans back the fighters of their own nationality or from their hometown or home state. It is what it is...

But, I honestly could care less about all that. I like fighters from different, cultures, ethnicity, region, none of that matters to me.

I think this is a failed argument here. First of all about 77% of people on this forum are americans and I don't see your point about people saying Dirrell would definetly have been KO'd. You have to realise, European or American people are going to have opinions and you can't say "No, Dirrell definetly would have survived" because you don't know.

I'm American and root for fighters I enjoy watching. I like Gatti, Paul Williams, Paul Malignaggi, and Oscar De La Hoya, but I also like Sergio Martinez, Manny Pacquiao, and recently David Haye. What's the problem with that?

I was rooting for Martinez because he's my favorite boxer. I registered on here because I wanted to ask when he was fighting again. Should I have to root Kelly's ***** ass because I'm American? His title reign was pathetic, he ducked everyone that was a threat while champ, and he reinforced many negative stereotypes about white american fighters. **** that ****.

It's for both, people that hate America and pray for the down fall of American fighters. These people don't like us, we need to stop helping or supporting them.

You americans rarely if ever give an ounce of credit or respect for european and foreign boxers. While alot of europeans including my self are a fan of american fighters, tyson, rjj, mayweather all of them have alot of fans in europe and alot of people know who they are. But how many times do you see an American backing up a european fighter?
