He would have the Tony Ayala legacy, kind of a poor man Ibeabuchi legacy...

That is what his legacy is going to be... Nobody is going to claim he is an ATG.

Why do you guys keep making this same damn thread?

Hes not an ATG or even a Hall of Famer.

But we will always wonder what couldve been.

He was an absolute terror in the ring.

it's true. the only legacy valero will have is a guy who had very good power but that power was never tested against any real opposition. his potential is now forever in doubt

Only because of what he just did to Quintana. I thought the Collazo fight was pretty clear for Collazo, and he hadn't fought anyone good outside of that.

Valero>Butler in the ring... They both were off their rocker outside the ring. But, inside Butler wasn't ****, Valero was a what if just like an Ayala...

His best win is De Marco. Not a great legacy.

Valero was not impressive to me. Very amateurish with not much skill. There's no "what if" factor to me. He was just an avg fighter with good marketing.

He showed more heart than Mayweather,Dirrell, Roy Jones, or Hopkins. And he was a better person than the Mayweather's ever will be.
