Questions/Concerns about both fights last night

Just a few things I would like say here. I wasnt paying 100% attention during the Bute-Miranda fight. I saw the knockdown and all that, but wasnt 100% focused. Why was it stopped right away? There was no doubt it was a beautiful punch that landed flush, but why wasnt Miranda given a second chance to see if he could get up and make it through the round? He wasn't exactly complaining when the ref stopped it so maybe he was hurt pretty bad.

Also, I thought Kelly Pavlik's corner did a terrible, TERRIBLE job last night. Awful advice "Kelly get in there and ****ing punch that *****". If thats all you're going to say to your fighter who is being outboxed like crazy then you might as well not say anything at all. Also, Kellys cutman ****ed up bad. He sent him out like 3-4 times with that right eye still bleeding. Just thought i'd get that off my chest.

Miranda was stumbling around when he got up, his legs weren't there it as a fine stoppage.

Also, though the cut man did a terrible job of stopping the bleeding there was nothing that the corner could have told him that would have made much of a difference, Kelly's natural limitations play right into Sergio's strengths.

If they didn't work on new things in the gym they certainly can't apply a new strategy in the ring once the fight has started.

miranda , instead of protesting, was happy and pulled a "Ortiz"...his eyes were actually not clear and legs unsteady..the referee didnt even ask him to take a couple of steps to check his balance..it was that bad..

It would have went on, but right as the ref was going to grab Mirandas glvoes like refs usually do, he stumbled bacckwards. I was so pissed, but it was a good stoppage. I wanted to see Bute charge, and finish it.
