I'm not defending this piece of ****, but we haven't been seeing reports of him abusing his wife for years. We've seen it in the past year after he got that tattoo and after the Pitalua fight.

The time line doesn't indicate any problems before that. Anyone could have been inclined to think this was the media hounding and exaggeration.
Expected what? That he was a nut that probably murdered someone before? Yes. Everything about him screams "Unstable nut" Waiting to blow"

I can understand you don't like Arum, but how did he fail her. He is only a promoter and seeing that Valero is another country under a different legal system, it's foolish to think Arum could have done anything different to change this outcome.

When I say that I mean he was an enabler thats all, like the many that were around him... down playing what they knew he truly was.

That's ****ed up. I heard about the domestic abuse and I wasn't that surprised. He looked a little crazy and boxers have done it in the past. But this...this is something else. So sad, he was an exciting fighter.

                Waste of Life.

Guy was on the verge of becoming something. Plus he had his beautiful family on the side..

An exciting fighter who was on the cusp of becoming something big. So much potential. I always said if he could hook up with Roach, he could very well be the next Manny Pacquiao. All is gone now. So sad for his wife and kid.
                  THIS GUY!..

ELPac gets worse by the day..I remember when you were a quality poster..

Edwin is gone for good...he'll be institutionalized more than likely...but as far as his Boxing career..it's OVER...I feel so bad for his child(ren) not sure how many he had by her...but he ruined their lives..now they have no parents..****s sad..she was only 24 too..sad sad sad..

it takes a certain, disgusting person to beat a woman.

now murder is a whole other story.

i dont care what this guy did in the ring and now never will.

what a horrible shame. this guy was crazy from the beginning, now add drugs,

what a waste of a life.

Valero is a lot worse than Margarito is. Him and Eric Morel are the lowest of the low.
