    Comments Thread For: Ali Funeka Suspended, Has Until May 3 To Answer

    Last week BoxingScene.com ran a story stating that lightweight Ali Funeka failed a post-fight drug test after his March 27th bout with Joan Guzman, and the Las Vegas Review Journal reported that Funeka was facing a possible fine and suspension. He tested positive for the diuretic hydrochlorothiazide. On Friday the Nevada Athletic Commission temporarily suspended Funeka's license. He has until May 3rd to answer the complaint.                   He's screwed. I think he'll lose once he moves up in weight too because Bradley is a better boxer and Alexander has the pop to put him to sleep.
