That link just is confirming the incident. The crime was committed around 4am in an hotel in the city of Valencia and Edwin Valero is been retained as prime suspect for stabbing multiple times his now dead wife.

He has shown himself to be a mentally unstable person in the past so it doesn't come as a surprise. This is all very tragic and could have surely been prevented by taking actions against Valero earlier.

I imagine Valero will be one of those fighters that 10 years from now we'll say that he could have been one of the greats.
