They put in the caption at the bottom when they interviewed him

"Middle weight TITLE HOLDER"....

If it was Paul or Kelly in the same spot they would have called him Middle weight CHAMPION....

It doesn't really matter whatever whoever wants to call it though. Martinez is the Middleweight Champion of the World.

He's the Ring, lineal, unified WBC and WBO champion, the only thing he isn't is undisputed, but he's the Champ without a doubt.

B/C he's not an HBO fighter they are gonna hate on him. Hes the man that beat the man that beat the man so know he's the man. Abraham and Sturms middleweight titles were vacated by Hopkins and Taylor so it can all be traced back to Hopkins who lost to Taylor who last to Pavlik who lost to Martinez after losing a MD to Williams. So Martinez needs to face Williams again or go after Felix Strum or the Sebastian kid since he's into fight in backyards and holding his own. Everyone else is to scared but Martinez just wants to fight
