Cong**** to Martinez! About time he got the right decision.

I've been steadily becoming more of a Martinez fan and tonight was great. He boxed nicely and seized the oppurtunity when he should have. True championship material.

    And the new..............

Agreed. Cintron draw was a joke and I felt he beat Williams.

        Looking forward to Martinez-Williams 2

My faith in clean boxing was restored a bit tonight.

          The best man won.

Finally, I'm glad he got the right decision, although I think he beat Paul I wouldn't call it a robbery because it was a really close fight, they should settle their business before the year ends.

This was the sweetest victory possible for Martinez, I am very happy this guy finally got his due.

A great win for Sergio.. i'm extremely thrilled for Martinez winning the titles!

Just wanted to comment on the HBO Jock-Riding Club was in "full-effect" for Kelly Pavlik tonight btw (Jim and Larry, talking about you!), the talk that was present in either the 6th or 7th round was ridiculous, at a certain point, essentially mocking Martinez's style of fighting as Steward attempted to explain all that went into those knockdowns, which did include off balance movement by Martinez.. and the fact that they continued to talk exclusively about Pavlik's future in the 11th and 12th, only giving Martinez credit when he had met their standards of "taking control".

Sergio Martinez has easily been one of my favorite boxers for the sport since the Winky stopped boxing. One of my favorite fights of 2010, no doubt.

Especially Lampley but that's expected from him now. He is the worst out of the HBO crew with his ridiculously biased commentary. I thought it was funny how when Williams knocked an off balance Martinez down they didn't want to give him credit for it. When an off balance Martinez went down tonight Lampley and Co were singing a different tune because it involved Pavlik. With that said Martinez looked great tonight and I wasn't at all surprised. Martinez has the better skills and think it's clear now that Paul Williams is a tougher opponent for Martinez. I want to see that rematch.
