Lucian Bute is the real deal

I kept saying that the winner of the super 6 wouldn't be the top guy at 168 and tonight was a big statement. If goes on to spark Pavlik and then Dawson....nothing anyone does in the super 6 will compare

agree......i have thought that for a long time.....and here is why



- his speed and power are underrated

- he is always thinking and relaxed in the ring....his eyes are never ff of his opponent

- good footwork and smooth and subtle upper body movement




and no fighter can consistently KOP people with left hook/ uppercut the way he has been doing it if they don't have any skills. He has that body shot down to an art and he lays traps for opponents to walk into it.......also look at where his feet are when he throws it and how they finish.



This guy is an intelligent boxer with underrated attributes.


I'm not sure he would beat all in super six......i would back Dawson to beat all these guys (including Bute)

Bute didn't look imrpessive to me. Wide open for right hands at all times. His defense sucks and guys with more skill than Miranda would take advantage of that. So what if Ward only decisioned Miranda. Kessler beat a guy who arguably should've had Bute KOd in the first fight. Styles make fights.

I don't know. Bute kicked the **** out of Andrade in the second fight and he blasted out Miranda with one shot when it took AA four.


This guy is the goods. And a southpaw.

He's hell for anyone.

Nice win for Bute, unlike Ward who held Miranda all night because he was afraid of getting hit Bute just went in there and took him out.

tht miranda wasnt the miranda tht fought ward, he was a shell tryin to use a style that dnt belong to him. i would love for bute to be in the super 6 tho. he belongs there more than green, thts 4 sure.

Miranda beat green and arguable Abraham in their first fight (was robbed, and I'm an Abraham fan)
