Well im a bit disapointed about the fight but thats not true what you say!
Bute deserves respect for this victory, he has not just great skills but also great power. He deserves to fight the winner of the the super six tournament!

      edison miranda = ricardo mayorga.

i like both. they have a heart of a fighter, unlike chicken floyd who got a chicken's heart.

          Nothing about hometown bull**** ...

Miranda took a few steps backwards and seemed shaken.

Clearly, even if he's a Canadian, nationality doesn't matter at the level he's right now. Just bring the best against him !

I honestly cannot understand why some people watch boxing. Anybody saying anything negative about this Bute performance (or the stoppage for that matter) really should find a new favorite sport to dedicate their time to.

I'm pretty sick of reading posts that seem like the poster has only watched a couple of bouts in their life or have only seen 1 minute of the 3 that are in every round of a given fight.

In this particular fight, had the referee let Miranda go on he would have been knocked down again not long after. That much is as clear an an azure sky in deepest summer to someone who is an unbiased, dedicated, honest fan of this fine, grand sport.

He would have been knocked out cold if they let it continue not knocked down again. And as far as I can tell, Miranda had no complaints about the stoppage neither did his trainer Joe Goosen.

I know one thing, Joe Gossen did improve Miranda alot, its just that Miranda really did alot of dumb things in the 3rd round like show boating after getting hurt. I'm sure Joe Goosen isn't thrilled by that at all, sure they didn't train to do ****** things like that during training camp. Mirandas defense looked pretty solid in the first 2 rounds. In the 3rd round he fought like an idiot.
