Getting your ass beat by a 16 year old boy.

So, Fox Sports is replaying a fight card from a few months ago that had Antillon in. One of the fights shown was Adrian Young who is only 16 years of age. Young was able to score the TKO and punish his man. What I'd like to know is how a grown ass man can accept defeat like that? Boxing is a sport, so talent can be different between fighters but boxing is still fighting and has a lot to do with pride and your manhood. Chances are I would have to hang it up if I got iced by a 15 year old. How bout you?

depends if it was a Tyson-esque freak of nature, if so; no shame there.

If it was a kid who looked like a kid then that's got to hurt.

Fighters like Mike Tyson, Wilfred Benitez, and Packey McFarland all were beating up grown men professional fighters at age 15/16. So its possible. It might be embarrassing at first, but if the kid goes on to become a superstar, the no shame in that.

Is this the fight your talking about? The kid looks bigger than the older guy so it's not that bad. It's still not great gettin whooped off someone that's 16.

Pac started pro at 16 (pro boxing only allowed 18 years old) and had to put some metal on his pocket to make weight but still whopped and ko fighters older and bigger than him. Check his early fights. He really looks like a kid.

Good point. It's gotta be embarrassing getting your ass handed to you by a guy who could pass as one of your son's friends.

FWIW....that yung kid really looked like a little kid. thats gotta be embarrasing esp since Yung looked like he was 13 years old..lol
