    Alfonso Gomez Next Fight

Ranked just down from the big names in the welterweight division is Alfonso Gomez. He is his own man now, and not a "Contender" boxer only. He has done alot of positive things since that show. He had the one bad loss to Cotto, but things like that do happen. He has come back anew and with a passion to keep progressing in the ranks. I hope that he takes on a younger contender in the division, as he also might be picking up the moniker "legend retirement specialist." He retired Gatti and now Castillo.

I believe he is going to shock the boxing community in one or two fights against a big name fighter. Put a place marker there for me.

Alfonso " The Retireminator" Gomez is a bad luck opponent, Even if he loses he'll put a curse on you to lose the next one lol.

Alfonso Gomez vs. Saul Alvarez make it happen!

He is actually the guy I thought of as a step up opponent for Shawn Porter at 147

Saul Alvarez vs. Alfonso Gomez would be a good fight for Alvarez.

Gomez isn't going to be beating any top 5 fighters, ever. Don't get **** twisted, it was only JLC.
