I see nothing that says this is true. I am still betting its a joke by a guy who probably felt somewhat "addicted" to these forums. Its like how when some people quit WOW they delete all their items, delete their characters and then delete their accounts. So when they get that feeling back its much more easily quelled. Its tragic if true, but I see no one saying they saw the obit. How about this, how old was he and where from and i can find out if this is true immediately.

How about linking the obit to one of his friends on here if you dont want it public, having the friend say, "I saw the obit" and then its proven.

This happened on the ESPN basketball boards a few years ago and is something of legend. Some guy posted as a female Kansas fan for like 3 years, then went on as another name and said she died, then a year later came back and admitted everything. The thread is like a thousand pages long and you can read through all the drama there.

Chances of Samurai being alive and playing a joke 90%. When things dont seem right, they usually arent. What brother, a day after watching their brother die unexpectedly, is going to be like, "Well I got tons of stuff I have to do, but I better go on the internet forums he posted on that I recently started an account on, and let people know that he died." It would have been one thing if he started an account that day, but he didnt.

The fact that its cryptic, the fact that it dont make no sense, the fact that this isnt original and pretty much every message board has one of these just in my mind makes it pretty close to certain this is fake. I mean if he died why not say his real name, who cares. Seriously until someone comes on here other than the brother and is like "yeah I saw the obit" people should assume its fake.
wow mad response to this thanks again for all the nice replies and the pm msg's some sent to me. i mentioned i'd put this up to his girlfreind and mother yesterday. they will probably read all this in time and maybe take a bit of comfort that so many took time to say a few words and remember him, thats nice i think and it made me smile.

to PACK, your seeing things that are not there, as i already said last time we spoke i asked about this place as in are you still talking boxing on that forum and he mentioned how much he liked it and the people on it and the lenth of time he spent on here, so to me its just the same as telling people he actually knew, met physically and going thru people on my phone etc and letting them know. look, maybe it makes sense if i put it like this, last time i spoke to him was the previous weekend before he died, so a few of you spoke to him after that, so in a way he spent more time talking with you lot than he did me right? you must have been important to him. so i let you know, thats it. its simple. i'v told Jaz what happend by pm, because of the stuff he wrote to me he's got to have been pretty close to my brother.
i dont want to go into lots of details on the forum about his actual death because of one reason, i dont know how much or what amount sam would have wanted me to say, maybe i shot my mouth off already i dunno? i cant ask him now! so instead i just put the basic details he had a brain hemoridge, and that keeps it private in case thats how he wanted it?
he wasnt ill at all before this and the hospital said it can happen to anyone, and you cant stop it.

Thanks for clarifying that up toad. I was thinking that pack's experience in the particular case he pointed maybe true but not necessarily true to all cases.

Believe me, I was hoping what he was saying was true to all cases but I find your messages legit.
