So nice to see so many people are still paying respects to Sam in this thread. I agree with Gully. In all the many days Sam and I talked almost every day, neither of us ever asked the other what we really look like.

I think that says something about his opinion on that subject, whatever it's worth. Just thought I'd throw that out there. Just my experience with him. I don't claim i know what he would have wanted, cuz i don't. I just know i still miss him, and am really warmed by this very long tribute thread to Sam whom, with others here, I had the pleasure and honor of sharing his friendship.

Sam did link me a pic of him once, like 6 months ago. From what I remember and this may not be accurate, but I think he was a slim built, mixed race (but quite fair from the photo I saw) 6 foot ish, short dark haired, cool dawg.

I hope the funeral went as well as can be expected, we'll always value your presence Sam, you were one of the good guys my man...
