Gossen: Edison Miranda is a changed and improved fighter!!

Edison Miranda’s trainer Goossen is confident that his training program will make all the difference.


“I’m really impressed by the capacity of Edison to follow my directives. When I saw him lose the decision vs Andre Ward in 2009, he only had a heavy right hand to rely on. I’ve asked him to try new things, and he did them all with extreme precision. I’ve seen see a lot of fighters in my career and Edison has the abilities and capacities of a great athlete. He’s one of the best athlete I’ve see in my gym. If Team Bute thinks that my fighter will be tired after the sixth round then they are in for a bad surprise.”


Edison Miranda declared: “Someone at the grocery store asked me why I haven’t trash talked Lucian Bute. I answered that I respect fighters who earn it and Lucian Bute has earned that respect.”

I think Miranda is an improved fighter

But is he improved enough to beat Lucian Bute? I'm not sure he is but it will be an exciting fight for sure and with power like Miranda has, He's always in with a chance.

Hopefully Joe has worked on his craft some because he had a lot of bad habits in the past I been a Miranda fan since the Willie Gibbs fight he beat Allan Green all the HBO hype most feared Middleweight in the division calling out Jermain Taylor Before the Pavlik fight He became a star with raw punching power in the right hand lets see tonight if Joe turned him into a more skilled fighter
