Imagine this... Mosley vs Marquez @ 146; Mayweather vs Margarito...

How would these fights turn out?

Don't get me wrong, JMM is a great fighter, but a Welterweight he is not. Marquez wouldn't make it to the second half of the fight vs Mosley.

And considering how cautious Floyd fought vs a slow, bloated version of JMM, he'd practically be running out of the ring vs Margarito; there is no way he tops Shane's defeat of Antonio.

Maybe Mosley gets a better win against Marquez, but still gets hit more than Floyd by him.

No matter what still Shane is going to lose to Floyd

          dumbest logic Ive seen today...
so you are saying Marquez would be KOd by Mosley(the guy that Pac wouldnt fight at 142)..a guy you claim Pac would KO ..yet JMM gave Pac his toughtest fights(winning more rounds..if not winning via decision)..and you claim Pac hits harder than Mosley..
but Pac couldnt finish JMM..but now you say Mosley would..
which is it, make up your mind STAN!

seriously..Marg fight isnt even worth mentioning..

Mayweather would beat Margarito just like he did Marquez and Mosley would beat Marquez just how he beat Margarito

Mosley would beat Marquez depends which Margarito fights if its the one that beat Cotto then Margarito runs him out the ring remember Hatton was just putting pressure on Floyd using his feet to get in close and barely throwing 30 punches a round Floyd looked clueless imagine what he would look like against a guy who would throw a 100 plus punches but Hatton would have been quicker then Antonio so Floyd could be able to time him beter but i think Margarito tkos him late on around the 9th or 10th.If the Margarito that fought Mosley shows up then Floyd wins a ud

Get it through your thick skull: Mayweather wanted to bank in rounds in this fight as it was a tune-up. He said it before and after the fight.

Fought cautiously? He was still breathing through his nose after the bell in round 12, leaving the ring without a scratch. He was toying with Marquez.
