    pinzon 7 lbs off and porter still fought him.
    porter should be ready for a belt after 2 rated fyters.
    he did learn something from sparring with pacman....

        actually the fight was scheduled at a catchweight of 152.
        pinzon weighed in at 163. porter's team made him lose 2 lbs before the fight day weigh-in. still, pinzon was 11 lbs over.

            And Porter weighed 150 at the weigh in. They weighed Friday morning and Pinzon was 161 and Porter was 158.

            150 at the weigh in though tells me that Shawn Porter is pretty much a welterweight now. I know he had talked about moving down and looks like he is there.

              pinzon was panzon (fat) for the fight,porter was killing him ,interesting to see how this father(trainer) /son (fighter) combo works out,

                  yep. tough to gauge what difference it made with shawn since his opponent was crap, but moving down is the right career move.
                  shawn looked less thick around the torso.
