Why does every heavyweight thread get hijacked by a Klitschko fan?

first of all to all you so-called posters, his name is Luan Krasniqi,,,,,,,correct your spelling.

krasniqi vs brewster would be an interesting technical fight, and i would doubt very much seeing a ko.............it would be a close decision to the home fighter wherever fought....so if in the U.S Brewster wins by close points, if in Germany , Krasniqi wins by close points.....

Krasniqi has beaten Brewster before in the amateurs, and I would predict he would fight with a similar approach and outbox a rough Brewster (in germany).

(I find it odd nobody brings this up and everyone is covering something) and NOW that Rahman vs Barret sign on to fight in August, Vitali is ready to go in September so he knows Barrett or Rahman wont be ready in time so he can slide past that.....I mean come on that is pure duckage right there. If Rahman told Barrett to **** off he is waiting for Vitali, Vitali would run off and get injured again.

Anyways back to the main topic at hand, Brewster vs Luan would be a good fight. Surely it doesnt look great on paper but both fighters are sluggers and it would be entertaining and I would pick Lamon to win by a UD, but I would still prefer some unification to happen
Spinksjinx, I think most on this forum would prefer unification of the heavyweight belts, but I can remember the same arguments for unification when I signed up almost a year ago. And we're not any closer to unification now than we were then, infact I'd say the prospect of unification is knowhere in sight.

i can see krasniqi outboxing brewster no matter where the fight is held, krasniqi is one of the best technical boxers out there, and brewster has shown before that he has nothing but trouble with good ''boxers'', and those guys were not even as good as krasniqi is, krasniqi by comfortble decision.

well vitali won't need to duck brewster [suposedly] for much longer because krasniqi will beat brewster IMO.

I've been talking about Luans potential for some time now and I'm not surprised that he finally gets some (well deserved) attention.

The problem is that he's now 34 and he knows that this might be the only chance he'll get in the near future. Krasniqi doesn't always respond positive in pressure. Before knocking out an overhyped Whitaker he had a poor outing against the medicore Timo Hoffman. Now styles make fights and Hoffman didn't suit Krasniqi well but I'm not sure if we'll see the best of Luan come the 28th octobre.

Another thing I dislike is that Krasniqi quit on his stool against Przemyslaw Saleta in a fight he was winning. He avenged this loss with a KO of Saleta in the first round 3 bouts later but you can never be sure which Luan comes to fight.

However to his credit he's shown a lot of good signs lately.

I find it funny, btw, how everybody thinks that Lamon Brewster is the ****. One year ago everyone thought he was the worst alphabet chump ever and now he's the next big thing. Everything he had to do in order to change everyones perspective was to run over an unprepared Golota who was 2-1-2 in his last 5 fights and seemingly surprised by the task.

Brewster is still a medicore HW journeyman in my opinion. He's though and he's got decent power but that's about it. He's far from being an elite fighter and he wouldn't be my favourite against any of the other HW champions (except Ruiz maybe). Since he lost UDs to Charles Shufford and Clifford Etienne he has not improved to much. His biggest win came more by accident. All he had to do was to stay in there against the younger Klitschko (which was/is a though task but should be nothing to be proud of for a champion). That night Klitschko lost that title for his dumbness more than Brewster won it for his skills and finesse.

In this particular fight I see Krasniqi outboxing the one-dimensional Brewster. Krasniqi has the faster hands and has shown better movement. Brewster might have the edge in power punching but I don't think he'd catch Krasniqi too often. Luan is know for boxing very intelligent fights (when he's at his best) and he wouldn't risk an all out war against an opponent he can outbox all night. So I predict a UD for Krasniqi wherever this takes place.

I'm willing to bet over 200 mil on Krasniqi btw. Any takers?
