    Can Pavlik shine tomorrow?

After that Hopkins lopsided loss can Pavlik hit the mark against this speedster (we all know that Hopkins made Pavlik miss, a lot)? Yeah, it's been posted before but let's freshen' it up a little. I like Pavlik a lot but it's been tough being Kelly latley.

And rip the crap out of my latest blog if you dare!!!! Or don't...

i dont think anyone is going to look good against a crafty southpaw like martinez. but pavlik does have a very good chance, he is the taller fighter and if he fights tall then i don't see martinez having the chance to land his right hook over his jab.

sergio has a good sporting background but i think at 160 his stamina is poor, in the williams fights he was often caught huffing and puffing the added weight doesn't do him much good. if pavlik piles on the pressure and fights with a good workrate then his power should begin to take effect late in the fight.

martinez is an extremely skilled fighter he doesn't have a great jab but he feints well, times his punches very well and hes accurate. he has shown versatility in his attack and can mix up his headshots with bodywork. i think against pavlik he needs to show good lateral movement, keep pavlik on his toes and prevent him from setting his feet.

its a closer fight than most think but i think martinez has a good shout. but it wouldn't surprise me if pavlik retians his belts.

martinez will win early rounds and then eventually pavliks pressure will catch up to him and kelly will stop him after 2 or 3 rounds of a brutal beating

Martinez is one underrated boxer. Pavlik may win, but it won't be pretty.
