    The Humanity!

I am a student at Syracuse University and the past couple years have been fortunate enough to venture up to the Boxing Hall of Fame for induction weekend and to Turning Stone Resort and Casino for some pretty good fights. However, this year I am in Brooklyn for the summer and recently was cool with missing induction weekend as I could always just make it next summer until I saw that... DIEGO IS GOING TO BE THERE! The horror, the horror! I have never had the oppurtunity to see my favorite fighter live and despite already having his autograph hanging from my wall I have never actually met him, and I would have had the oppurtunity to do so had I only stayed in damned Syracuse this summer! Oh the humanity! One of my favorite parts of induction weekend at the IBHOF is getting to interact and converse with the fighters, little did I know that one of the fighters would be Chico Corrales. Ah well, there is always the future I suppose. I just thought I would share my misery with the world in case some might find it as ironically funny (if somewhat tragic) as I did. And I can always go back in twenty years when he gets inducted anyway!

Even though Leon turned out to be a journeyman, there is something about the guy that makes you want to see his fights even if he got whooped. He is like a legendary journeyman. I downloaded his Ko's against Holmes and Coetzee, and even though he was destroyed, it was still entertaining to watch him in the ring. Could it be his vampire smile that causes interest?
