WBC super middleweight champion Carl Froch promises to bring the fight to Mikkel Kessler in the very first round when the clash in the second stage of the Super Six Boxing Classic on April 24 in Denmark. I have never ever looked forward as much to seeing a man get KTFO as I do in the case of Froch. Please Kessler knock him out, and break his jaw while you're at it so we don't hear from him again for a while.

He will do it too, Froch promises a war and he delivers unlike so many other fighters.

I can't see how this guy is so hated on here, he is not that skilled but fun to watch.

Oh man is Carl Froch in for a surprise next week. He will be exposed by Kessler, and by the time AA finishes him in the UK, we will never hear about Carl Froch again.

        Kessler by landslide UD.
Abraham by another career ending brutal KO.

Why do I keep hearing about Frochs power. Anyways Kessler will destroy this joke who didn't deserve the win against Dirrell. I thought Green fought Froch next?

              War Cobra!!!

Going to war with Kessler is the wrong tactics. Kessler has too much ringsmarts to fall into that trap. The Dane will stick to his abilities in the early rounds, picking his shots while Froch is pressuring him. I've no doubts Kessler will be the man backing up, but Froch has to be aware that Mikkel will not trade early.

If Froch sticks to his jab from the set, with a good output....he'll find enough shots through to slowly wear Kessler down. His only chance of winning this fight in my opinion is through stoppage, so he needs to be looking for openings from the mid-to-late rounds. Frustrating his opponent will only help, and mentally, Kessler is not on par with the Cobra.

This is a defining fight in the Super Six. If Froch wins this, it shakes up the whole tournament. If Kessler wins, the playing field is leveled out again and it's still any man's game.

Froch is extremely underrated on this forum.

Kessler is damaged goods. Calzaghe ruined him and took his soul.

I got 50K on Froch over Kessler

                  Any takers?

I think that Froch needs to stomp his authority early. Never giving Kessler any rest. So I basically believe that what froch is saying is what he will and should do.

The question is of course if he can.
