Arum is taking the idea of being a "dirty promoter" to a whole new level. I mean first of all, their is one fighter out there that has some legitimacy to talking **** about Pac and that is Juan Manuel Marquez. What's that you say? 'marquez is old and shot' Well, then HEY! He'll fit in with the rest of Pacquiao's recent victims, not to mention that this fight would do well in PPV's and Pac has already taken on 2 of mayweathers leftovers so why not three makes it a charm? OOOHHH nevermind, Marquez is a golden boy fighter, I guess manny will just have to settle for margarito, alfonso gomez, jose luis castillo in a comeback fight, cotto II, **** this, this is what turns ppl off, this is why everyone wants to be like lebron and not be like ali cuz of *******s like arum

**** it I say Pac faces fresh meat. Any top contender at 140 would suffice. Alvarez would be nice. I think Canelo is getting a lot of attention in Mexico right now so I think it would be perfect if they made the fight in Texas. $$$ Cowboys stadium. Big Mexican/Filipino community there.

Margo got cracked like and egg by Mosley and was in a tough fight with Cott before that and Williams before him. He has also had a 1 year layoff. He meets all of team Pacs criteria. He is coming off a brutal loss, has been in plenty of ring wars (wear and tear), is flat footed and comes forward and finally is with Top Rank.....hate to say it but this fight getting made is almost a lock.
This is happening because of two things; the promoter and he's tailor made for Pacquiao; Margarito is always very open, stationary.

But does he have the strength to take the big man down? Pacquiao barely put a dent against Clottey, unfortunately Clottey isn't as active as a fight in the ring like Margarito. We all know how imposing Margarito's will is and should this fight take place we'll see who's is more dominant.

This fight is incredibly ridiculous...First let me state the obvious...This fight has the makings of an entertating fight because Margarito is a straight ahead fighter with power and Pac would have plenty of chances to catch him or get caught...

...But Margarito is a F@CKING CHEATER...He was willing to risk the life and livelyhood of a fellow boxer...Boxing is an already brutal sport and Margarito was willing to gain an added advantage by putting plaster in his handwraps!!!! F@CKING PLASTER!!!

Pac fans have been 100% correct in their contention that Pac should not be ACCUSED of Ped use without EVIDENCE...although I do think he's suspect - BIG BIG DIFFERENCE...Margarito on the other hand was caught with hard plaster being placed in his handwraps??? How in the hell can anyone get enthusiastic about the possibility of this cheater getting a chance at a payday and win against Pac???

          Just my two cents...

          Peace Mo!

Fight with Marg doesn't make sense, unless ....

..Margo agrees to a 20% share. For Pac, there are only 3 fights left for him..Winner of the Shane/Jr, Cotto/Foreman and Bradley or face all five. Any other fights should be toss in a garbage can.
Arum was matching up Pac to bigger guys to lose, unfortunately for Arum Pac's been busting up his stable mates.

Why would Arum want Pac to lose? That's the dumbest comment I've ever seen on this site!

this fight or a Cotto rematch will most likely happen.....its ****ed up but its either those 2 or Berto for Manny!!.....Floyd and Shane will dance twice....then again that depends on how bad Floyd gets beat.....he might pass on the rematch......then we get to see THE fight that hardcore fans dream about.....Mosley vs Pacquiao in a WW unification fight in one of those outdoor stadiums in LA....yea that would be dope!!

                  Gimme a break man.
And that's exactly the type of fighters Pac has built his so called legacy on. Oscar, Hatton, and Cotto had all been knocked out and were never the same fighters after their losses. No way would Pac beat Cotto in his prime. Even though Oscar was overrated he probably would have beaten Pac. Pac would have beaten Hatton. Now he wants to fight Margarito, another shot fighter. If he's not gonna fight Floyd or Shane why not fight one of the unbeaten guys like Alexander, Berto or Bradley? Pac is a good fighter but he's built his legacy on has been fighters. He's nothing but a FRAUD!!!

the other 3, never gonna happen in a million years
Why give Pac a special pass for not fighting Paul? If no one is opposed to any of the other welterweights fighting Paul why shouldn't Pac. He is fighting at welterweight now, right? When Cotto was champ what would you think if he said that Paul was too tall? Do you know that Pac is taller than Cotto? Pac is willing to fight Margarito and Foreman who is only two inches shorter than Paul. Plus, Margarito fought Paul, so why the special pass for Pac. This guy is a FRAUD!!
