Rome, I think your cool and all but honestly, I see you
putting up walls everytime someone says something
positive about Floyd or when they point certain things
out, you always have a counter on why it is not so.
I know and respect that you are a Sugar Shane Mosley
fan because I am and like him too but give Floyd his props.
Sometimes you make it seem like Floyd was always thought
to be the favorite in every fight or the guys he fought weren't
good enough or ready to fight him. Floyd moved up and
dominated guys that were comfortable in their respected
divisions bottomline. It is the same thing with the Baldomir
situation. Everyone, including top WW's thought Floyd
would be too small to beat the bigger Baldomir or weren't
sure but as soon as Floyd did then all of sudden it was
a gimme fight? was/is Floyd too small or too big to compete.
I don't know because it changeds so much. Like the Cotto
situation, first Floyd was too elite for Cotto and then later
on, Floyd was avoiding Cotto? I don't get it.

I never said Floyd DUCKED Cotto I said he never fought him and put his reason down(From Floyds own mouth)I give May his Props Jtiger ask who did May fight that was smaller then him other then JMM.The answer was Hatton and Judah and they were honestly smaller man. When it comes down to Cotto you know how I feel there was a perfect time for them to fight and the fight did not happen period(and no that time was not at 140lb).I bring things up about who May has fought because it is very relevant when you are talking about this guy like he is the best thing since slice bread and let's be honest only dude he fought on his level in the past 5 to 6 maybe even 7 yr's has been Hoya.Me I give May his respect and think he is a great fighter.I like May(not more then Shane of course)and if he was not fighting Shane I would be on his banner as well but I would still have to speak the truth about his career. But he is in the process of closing all arguments it's already happening now. This fight is the Start I believe anything under 140lb was great and is what I really remember him for I was not to impress with what he has done at 140(except the Hoya win he fought like a true champion against a ELITE fight)I know you can't always fight the best but there come's a time you must I happy to see him doing it again.

        Paul Williams certainly doesn't.

Because Mayweather would NEVER fight him, unfortunately Floyd can't sit around and wait for Paul to get old.

What contradictions are there in the bible? funny how those who don't read it claim to know what it says. I study it everyday and haven't found one. LOL, ignorance at it's best.[/QUOTEI study it everyday]

you judged the person to be ignorant....
if i may ask....why do you study the Bible everyday??

All good my peoples. Just wanted to say what I get from reading
some of your posts. I don't think that Floyd is the best thing since
sliced bread but I don't cosign that Floyd was supposed to go out
of his way to fight Cotto, when Cotto NEVER made any effort to
fight Floyd who was the man to beat.

You have to understand what he meant by that. Most of his fights are considered boring to most casual fans, but it's his opponents fault that those fights were that way..To make a fight exciting fighting Floyd, you have to be able to outmatch anything that he do. Once you do that, you'll be able to force him to fight and make him uncomfortable. But if you're not that good, he'll be comfortable and control the whole fight.
