Should Rid**** "Big Daddy" Bowe be boxing?

There are a lot of concerns over Rid****s health. He is certainly looking out of shape (unrelated to his health concerns).

He has been refused a license in a couple of states due to his brain injury (used in defence to stay out of the pen - did not work).

I would like to see Rid**** come back, but seeing him in the ring. He is a mere shadow of his former self.

No because he was punch drunk before he left and the problem with this whole thing is that Bowe is barely getting by. They are tossing around that well Bowe certainly sounds fine now and should be cleared. But what they forget is that his long layoff of what 8 years? Has actually helped him salvage and regain a little of what he had lost. The commissions arent being dumb and is just looking out for his own good. I mean he let him keep what he has salvaged.

Ironically Newman was bad for him in his prime but he cares more for Bowe and is doing more good for him now then he has ever done.

(Rock Newman is helping most commissions not accept Bowe because of medical conditions)

        No.

Zumbrun had him wobbled several times and I thought the ref would stop it in the 8th or 9th when Rid**** was out on his feet against the ropes...

In short, any heavyweight with an ounce of skill may end up seriously injuring Bowe, I think a fight with someone like Peter or Brewster or maybe even Tyson may put him in the hospital with some big time brain damage...

If Bowe does have brain damage he should be barred from boxing.

Its a pitiful situation really. Bowe has dreams of grandiour. Dreams of the old Holyfield days. I do not want to see him fight again. Signs are that he will get licensed. They have already thrown out the brain-injury evidence and they are on their last ditch attempt to stop him by analyzing his speech. So he may be licensed and back real soon.
