this...my one knock on pac is that all of the fighters he's fought at welter, were damaged. they were either coming off losses or hard fought decisions, he has yet to fight a fighter on the rise like himself, this is undisputable.

since his campaign at WW....Pac has fought DLH (no point in bringin that up)....Cotto - Catchweight diddn't hurt Cotto, the ghost of Margarito did and his useless corner....Clottey - Clottey IMHO is a legit WW win...no catchweight, could've argued he won SD against Cotto and shut Clottey down to the point he diddn't want to throw back.

No excuses for Mosley or Floyd...he should fight both with no stips.....other than Mosley / Mayweather....who was left for Pac to fight at WW and given full credit for?

everyone pac beat is damaged. people will always try to discredit pacs achievements. i guess clottey is shot and damaged too now. theres always gonna be excuses after a loss to pac.

i, along with a few other ppl on this board, would have preferred he move down to 140 and fight bradley. that would have been a better fight than clottey and while cbradley isnt really known, he has about as much recognition as clottey and hes wayy better than clottey. i think anyone who fights bradley, be it floyd or pac, would get a ton of credit from the boxing world.

of course, everyone wants to see pac/may, im included in that. thts tht fight that should be made if may wins agains mosely. but even thats not guaranteed. im likin how mosely is looking going into that fight.

clottey isnt damaged. he's flawed. and he has one of the worse flaws any boxer can have. he doesnt kno how to fight when he needs to fight. ppl may say clottey is good, and he is, but pac shouldnt be wasting his prime fighting gatekeepers. clottey aint a champion, he cant win big fights and he's done zero to have deserved a fight on such a big stage.

just my opinion, but i think a lot of ppl feel the same way. u can say what u want about mayweather, but may-baldomir made a whole lot more sense that pac-clottey at their respective times.

I have been tellin everyone about a Pac/Bradley fight for the longest...post-Hatton/ pre-Cotto.....but idea was shot down by EVERYONE...."Bradley ain't got no name recognition...he don't bring anything to the table...Pac is only fighting big name fighters now"...etc.....well....Clottey wasn't a big name and we all know the reason why he fought him. I personally would've preferred a Bradley/Pac fight before a Cotto fight.....and Cotto could've rematched Mosley in that time......just my thoughts.
