how long have u been watching boxing? a week?

haye doesnt run, he moves. its called lateral movement and is a vital part of the sport. theres absolutely nothing wrong with it, u might aswell watch a basketball game and ***** everytime someone takes a jumpshot.

but i can tell u are new to the sport, all u see is two guys punching eachother but theres alot more to it than that. the name of the game is hit and not get hit, haye is using angles were hes in a position to do just that and in the process land shots ruiz doesnt see which are the ones that do damage, also makes ruiz walk into them which doubles the force of the punch.

boxing is a science, not just two dummies punching eachother til one guy falls down. u should learn to appreciate BOXING which includes the use of footwork and angles or go back to watching rocky movies cuz real boxing isnt for u.

Not so! He goes back back back and forces the other fighter to make the fight. The only time he uses "lateral movement" is when he's against the ropes and can't go back, so you're WRONG I'm afraid. What would happen if his opponent did the same? There would be no fight.

so u have only been watching boxing for a week in other words?

haye can be the aggressor or use the ring, if ruiz didnt come to him he wouldve attacked. the thing is ruiz had to come forward cuz thats his only chance of winning, he has to put haye against the ropes to land punches and he has to try to break him down with pressure cuz a fresh haye is way to much for him. haye being the better fighter he has options, being a smart fighter he used ruiz' aggression against him making him walk into punches. and he used the ring to avoid getting hit (boxing = hit and not get hit).

if ruiz hadnt come forward haye wouldve killed him, there would be a fight it would just be even more one sided.

a great fighter can fight going backwards or forwards, someone who always goes forward is flawed. haye usually comes forward but being a well rounded fighter like he is he can fight going backwards when he has to and not only win but knock his oponent out. only fake fans would try to see it as something negative.

Vitali is a steroid abuser and Wlad gets KTFO by bums. Is THAT the future of the division?

No one is really good at HW today, but there is plenty of talent in other weight classes. Watch them instead.

You're talking garbage. Mike Tyson never ran away from fighters, he fought one way. Same with all ATG's. Ali never ran, he covered up - there's a difference! Counter punchers don't have to run away, they can stand their ground and sometimes take the initiative. Haye back pedaled the WHOLE fight against both Ruiz and Valuev. That and his illegal rabbit punching.

god forbid haye actually comes in with the will to fight and the will to win, not to mention he actually has to use his SKILL against opponents often bigger and stronger than he is. at least we know hes not getting by on just being 6'7 with a long reach.

exactly, mike tyson could only fight coming forward and that was a flaw of his. he could only be effective as the aggressor and anytime his aggression didnt pay of the fight was lost, he couldnt adapt and just hoped to land a lucky punch.

ali didnt use the ring? lol..

there are diffrent types of counterpunchers, one of hayes flaws is that he isnt good in the pocket like mayweather or toney. so he needs to use the ring to give himself space. hes not a perfect fighter (far from it) but his ability to fight going backwards is something to praise him for not bash him for.

again theres nothing wrong with backpedaling as long as you are fighting back. running is simply trying to stay away, boxing is hitting without getting hit. if u gotta use the ring to give yourself the room u need to do so, then use the ring. its not like haye has a 20% KO percentage, he put it on ruiz all night and finisehd him.

u just think the fight was boring cuz u wanted haye to lose and he didnt, u dislike him so u refuse to give him credit. grow up.. its not even like he foguht a great fight, there was plenty of things he did bad but using the ring isnt one of em.
