Hatton laid out the blue print himself by never having his hands up when preparing to throw and engage, it was just a matter og time an elite fighter stepped in there and countered him at the sweet spot.
Dont get me wrong either I am a Hatton fan. He wasnt overrated IMO. The guy achieved what he achieved being one-dimensional. So credit is due to him for actually doing that. He had a good stance , decent hand speed , decent pop. But his boxing IQ if any was not all that good. He just swong for the fences and expected to break u down. Thats not skill. So thats why he gets credit from my part for making it somewhere in this sport. He might be a HOF one day. If it was up to me he would be at least. But Mayweather did not layout a blueprint at all. mayweather just countered like he usually does. I was not expecting a ko in that fight , much less from Floyd.
