i dont know, if hes saying it for shane, dont be suprised if shane ends up on the canvass, quiting on the stool or ****m throwing the towel in
im leaning heavily towards the throwing in the towel or quitting on the stool....

Floyd has put on some of the best displays in the ring. He whupped
Gatti and Zab's ass. What kills me is that there are always excuses
on Floyd's wins or opponents when fact of the matter is that he
has fought mostly champions and top opponents. Seems like
whenever Floyd fights an opponent, he is washed up or a bum
but before he was a good or great fighter? **** is lame. Just
      give the man his props.
Everyone recognizes his talent, but talent alone does not prevent you from taking criticism, especially if you've chosen to test your talent by taking the path of least resistance. He is a great fighter, everyone and anyone can see that, what he has done in the welterweight division since he's joined it....pathetic. Mosley is a step towards correcting that perception and May will get the credit and respect after the fight, win or lose.

To the guy who questioned whether Floyd buckled Oscars legs:

the only way floyd knocks shane out is if he hits him with a truck

mr pot shot, pivot lead right, or jump lead left and duck under and pivot couldnt
          take out a 135lb jmm.

floyd has terrible bad habbits which telegraph his shots.....

if i was shane i would throw 4 punch combos, scoring points, then step back, pivot out and move laterally just adding up points and rounds.

then when he is up 4 rounds to none he can mix in some body work and power shots.

you guys are going to be very surprised by how much shane stays back and moves away after scoring points against a pot shotting single punching floyd.

the blueprint is easier than most think. do not chase this guy, apply efficient pressure, score some with combos and get out......
I'll bet u all your points that you r full of **** too

I said this a couple days back, the only one that can challenge that distinction is Oscar. As far as talent, Mosley is the most talented fighter Floyd has ever faced.
If this is so, then they clearly ducked Cotto, as prime Cotto went to war with Mosley and won (albeight back-pedaling the last two rounds). Mayweather would have never gotten in the ring with him. I don't think he could have beaten the Cotto that beat Mosley.

everyone keeps talking about how this is a joke and its not believable, but i seem to remember the sunday morning after the ricky hatton fight. keep in mind that was 2 fights ago for him. while i dont think it will happen, its not completely out of the question. while he didint stop marquez he did the unthinkable to hatton. Mosley could also very well return the favor. Either way im sure alot of you in here are like "OMG FLOYD ALWAYS LIES" blah blah blah, but he did score a rather vicious knockout over hatton who had never been touched like that and walked through shots from kostya tszyu.

Lol he barely moved Oscar, c'mon dude. That was a glorified exhibition match, nothing dramatic happened in that fight on either side.

He walk through shots from a old tuzu.Hatton can't be talk about in the same breath as either of the fights who will fight on May 1.So I don't know why Hatton would come to mind?Did you believe he had a shot at beating Mayweather going into that fight?
