lacy size wise is the same as james toney. a little shorter reach. i think james started at middle weight. 5'9 at heavyweight seams a stretch but with a weak division any thing can happen will happen.

He could be an effective fighter probably up to the cruiserweight division but not heavyweight. He would get owned by Mormeck though at Cruiserweight. Mormeck is gonna gonna unify the Cruiserweight belts and become first Undisputed Cruiserweight champ since the Real Deal. Mormeck would be good at heavyweight too, the guy is relentless, he has alot of similarities to Joe Frazier.

I think anything past light-heavy and he'll struggle. I'm just not sold on Lacy yet and think Calzaghe will beat him. He's not got the best stamina in the world and I don't think he's particularly gifted. He's also been well matched. But an in-form Calzaghe will beat him on points or by late-round stoppage.

Well I think Lacy needs to be the best in his division before thinking about moving up in weight...

But there's no reason he couldn't do it in the future. Both Toney and RJJ were able to move up to heavyweight (even if the competition was a little suspect).

And Lacy seems bigger than they were at this stage of his career,

I'm pretty sure he can compete at crusier but he won't light the world at fire.
