Paulie Malignaggi is a LIVE underdog.

Not a big fan of either fighter, but I have to say Paulie isn't a very live dog in my opinion. Answer me this; what does Paulie have over Khan? Not hand speed, not power, not foot work, not training...I'm guessing you'd say "ring IQ" or something....as that's the only possible advantage you could reasonably argue for aside from pro experience.

Frankly, however, I don't think Paulie is a particularly smart fighter. Somehow he didn't even get close to outboxing Hatton who, and no disrespect to him, was on the downslide when he faced Maglinaggi. That's Hatton, who, as of late hasn't been particularly hard to hit. As a whole I've never seen Paulie do anything very brilliant in the ring...and I've seen him do plenty of questionable things(tauting Diaz when he should have been hitting him when Juan was actually hurt...the hair thing). What evidence is there that Paulie is a great or even good ring general?

When you struggle to come up with attributes a fighter has over his opponent, and the fighter has little power, its hard to call him a "live dog".

Paulie will make it a fight, but unless he kos Khan which seems impossible, but its not, then Khan gets a decision no matter what.

wouldnt call paulie a master boxer, the guy doesnt have great defence and relies too much on his headmovement to get out the way

nah but im serious. His ****y behavior before and after the Diaz fight really urked me. I want him to take a beating and see what he has to say afterwards.

He can't blame Buddy Mcgirt after this one like he did after the Hatton fight. What will his excuse be this time?

ye the guy is typical brooklyn. And the way he acted DURING the Diaz rematch pissed me off.

He is just a complainer and a talker, and when things dont go his way he finds someone who will listen and just runs his mouth.

I dont care for Kahn that much either, but i hope to god he has his way this punk kid from brooklyn. If he stops Paulie i would go wild

I just cant get the picture of Khan being layed out by prescott out of my head. Even though paully malignaggi could barely knock me out, he has the boxing skills to be more than simply a live underdog

Paulie's got a shot because he's a really skilled boxer and there's no way Khan has the power to break him down. You can discredit his power, but no way can you question his toughness and heart after his face was all ****ed up like that. So it depends if he can outjab, Khan, really. I think he can, but not enough so that I'd bet on it.
