    Roy Jones/Hopkins PPV numbers

I read that they did less than 100,000 buys.

    Thats sounds real bad.

Man, I hope you are wrong because that means Roy made very little. Geez, Roy deserves better than that. He's a legend for crying out loud.

I was hoping for 200k, which would make it so that he made a few million from it to make it worth his while.

I thought there was a BPP article about it earlier today... I could be wrong though...

Yeah there was a big chance Roy would be doing this fight for almost nothing...

I fealt bad for him on that end, but on the other... this fight never should have been made ppv, and probably never should have been made.

No, you're confusing the ppv count versus the number of No-Doz consumed during the fight.

I don't feel bad for Roy or Hopkins no matter what happens to them the rest of their careers in boxing. They blew one of the biggest fights ever by not fighting in 2002 or 2003, so eff them both. I hope neither made a dime. ****, it's not like they actually FOUGHT. They danced and pranced like ******.

It probably sold-piss poor because most people already knew the outcome except some Roy fans who never wanted to give up faith.
