I think people forget that its not "tag, you're it".

Thats what DLH did for the whole fight.

He wasn't putting anything on his punches and it was quite obvious.

Lots of guys can be fast and speedy, when they don't put any force into it.

But its not going to do any damage. That is not clean punching. I can easily flick out my hand and just tap you faster than if I put some real force into it to try and knock you back.

Shane was putting in some real work in there whereas Oscar was trying to win a fashion show.

Oscar's punches have always looked like that. And as soon as his left hook lands within that combination, dudes are droppin like dead bodies.

I think a lot of people in this thread are seriously underestimating the power that used to be on Oscar's shots, even the "pitty-pat" ones.

I've taken notice of that. They look "Pitty-Pat" but aren't; they really aren't.

            No, they haven't.

He was trying to win points by looking busier in that fight because he knew Mosley was faster and it was Mosleys speed that cost him the first fight.

lol, this board has to be very backwards when it makes oscar look like the most underrated fighter in a while.

ppl, there was a reason oscar had a lot of hype. he was actually really good. and there was no way he lost to shane that 2nd time. i still dnt get thad decision.

Lol how you gonna say Oscar always punch like that?May Sr taught him to fight like that with that moving crap.Hoya was always on his toes but not moving back.He would stuff the jab in your face and come forward behind it.He never fought how he fought Shane in that second fight.Oh wait I stand corrected. He did against Vargas because he still had May Sr in his corner NO?The oscar that fought Shane the first time did not fight like that.

What's going on Dempsey? The reason Oscar lost that fight is because he was not effective at all.Shane was hurting Oscar and pressuring him.Hit his body with hard body shot's I had that fight Closer then what the Judges had but I felt it could have went either way(Depends on what you as a judge are looking for).Oh yea and they was in Vegas and you know running never get's rewarded in Vagas.(That shot was for Cotto in that Shane fight if anyone was wondering)

What damage?Shane did not even look like he was in a fight?Mean while Oscar had a lump on his eye and looked like it was a war in there?
