I'm rolling with 15 heads and 10 which have tickets for the fight... Trust me mayweather aint no cashcow... The only reason my friends and I are heading out is to check out saul alvarez!!!.... We'll be the ones with the big mexican flag rooting on saul yea of course we'll also be taking a bunch of **** too lol... I'll give GBP credit cause that's only going to make floyd vs mosley look like a big ass attraction... Majority of people again are going to be mexicans... Saul is more popular than mayweather and mosley put together... Mexicans just know how to support their own... And ppv buy, well that the same ****... Mexicans know how to party and they're going to buy the fight... Mayweather aint no cashcow take saul out and u just have mayweather mosley hbo after dark....

i agree,,they had to put in mexicans to sell this card even more,,i mean if canelo and ponce werent there, the mexicans arent going to pay 55 dollars to watch floyd run around the ring,,no way, believ me,canelo on this card is helping floyd sell,,all the mexicans will buy it because of him,not floyd, but of course at the end of the day they will be saying "floyd sold thousands of ppv'....lol..too funny

Weak undercards are the name of the game nowadays. I am lookin forward to seeing Alverez for the first time.

Canelo is bringing in a different type of Mexican boxer, He's like a rookie/young JMM. Can't wait to see this!!

I used to watch fights intently when I saw them live, to focus on every small detail of the battle being waged. Recently, I've let that change.

I take in live PPV's from the party atmosphere of boxing fans getting together, having a few drinks, talking about the sport and hanging out- and then watching a live PPV card as a group.

These type of get-togethers make a really boring or basic under card look especially bad. People are buzzed or drunk, restless, want some good boxing action to get into- don't get it with weak match ups- and drift into filling the space. We're talking about boxing as it is to the mainstream sport's fan having a few beers and deciding to see what all the fuss is about between Mayweather and Mosley.

An exciting under card has the opposite effect. Just as you're winding down from grilling out, for example, the PPV countdown of ten minutes starts. You start getting a little excited for some boxing! You're buzzed, talking about the fight, and then the under card starts.

The first fight is a solid scrap, good action- doesn't need to be huge names but something really interesting, like Berto-Quintana. I don't think anyone can argue Berto can carry a PPV- not by a mile- so he should be content to fight on one. Granted, they'd probably save a name like his until the fight right before the main event, but it was just a general example.

Point is, one fight after another of good action gets people excited. Seeing good fighters fight each other in a setting like this creates real buzz, real excitement about a guy in a more mainstream setting. It can build careers, reputations- bank accounts.

I don't from any angle understand how it doesn't benefit both the fans and the fighters to get maximum exposure on an under card like Mosley-Mayweather, and honestly other than seeing Alvarez, who I'm curious about, I don't get why this thing isn't stacked.

I mean, sure, I knew it probably wouldn't be anything good- we're cynical like that now- but I'd held out some hope I'd be wrong.

                It's alright, I guess..

Like someone said, it HAS to be better than the Pacquiao-Clottey snooze-fest of an undercard.

Past that, I don't think its the stuff of a great boxing party; which sucks.

Undercard isn't anything special, but here in England we get the whole PPV free.

So can't complain too much :-p

I mean, past the basic fact that it obviously focuses on European boxers, I've loved Sky sport's and Setanta's coverage of boxing when I've been able to get sopcast streams of their stuff. I overall don't mind the commentators, it has a real relaxed, knowledgeable feeling to it - I give props to those channels.
