Makes Jermain Taylor's stretch look like Joe Louis's HW reign.

Pavlik's minimum is a million plus, Bradley's is hundreds of thousands. If you were one of those greedy, corrupt pieces of ****s called sanctioning organizations, would you rather have 1(?) percent of a million(s) or hundreds of thousands?

Boxing needs a solution, whether it's a commission or an independent organization or even a network to take away some of the control from the promoters and sanctioning bodies.

Not trying to defend the guy but Hagler and Hopkins had long stretches of fighting mandatory challangers who were nowhere near the same level as them and they made out alright as Middleweight champions.

boxing fans hate the fact that there is a working class white kid as a world champion and as soon as he slipped, they jumped right on him and kicked him while he was down.

Pavlik was the one who did the number on Miranda and Taylor.Nobody wanted to fight Miranda after he beat Abraham to a bloody pulp in his own backyard. It was up to Pavlik to show Abraham and Ward how to beat him.

Pavlik is going to going to knock Martinez out.
His run up until getting the middleweight title was solid, Pavlik had a tougher run before he got as title shot than most. ****, if you include his title win over Taylor, Pavlik had a better resume at that point than Berto has now.

That said, his title reign has been trash, past disappointing. The criticism is more than deserved, so don't come with that race/class bull****.

Agreed, I'm white and American and I'm very disappointed in Pavlik. I follow boxing, not boxers. From a boxing fan standpoint, Pavlik has let us all down.

I still like Pavlik and wish him the best, but he has not fought the fights that earn you respect.

Think about this everyone. HBO is very pro Pavlik, yet they still couldn't muster up the gaul to air 2 of Pavlik's dreadful defenses of his title. Only Bob would do that, lol.

You guys act like he hasn't disposed of the bums he's fought. It's one thing for Jermain Taylor to SD a 154 lb. Cory Spinks. It's another thing for Pavlik to take these guys out in 3, 5, and 9 rounds respectively.

He's done what he's had to do. You can't have a problem with the way he's fought.

It would have been nice to see Pavlik in there with Arthur Abraham.
