Barerra was watching hattons fight with Eamen magee and he thought that Ricky showed real heart, and he said at the time Ricky is my brother, he was just very impressed with his style. So when Ricky was out in Vegas to watch a Barerra fight he was at the weigh in and some women told him that her son was a big fan, little did Ricky know it was Barerras mum. He found out later who she was.
