so basically wlad has to fight povetkin next, or they will strip him....
and i thought IBF rules, is that you can push your mandatory aside if your going to do a championship unification fight???
rumor is team haye and wlad will start negotiations tomorrow.....

quite right though that povetkin should get his chance. He has already waited a while (despite being so inexperienced in the pros).
Wasn't his 10th fight or so against someone half decent?Comment

true... but wlad has the right, to move his IBF mandatory aside, if he is doing a championship unification fight, which he clearly is.Comment

Haye doesnt need to drop his belt, just did his mando so the WBA are happy for him to fight any ranked fighter or unify. Valuev does have a rematch clause with him but thats nothing to do with the WBAComment

wlad and haye camps start negotiation on thursday.
wlad has the rights... to move his ibf mandatory, for a champ unification fight.. i dont see how they could stop them from doing that, he has the power to do that....
if wlad is forced to fight povetkin, and IBF declines his fight with haye...
then there is going to be alot of hayenuthuggeers saying wlad ducked out....Comment

well to be honest, i think it makes more sense for wlad to fight povetkin and for haye to do his rematch with valuev. Would make good business sense for wlad anyway to hype up the haye fight as much as possible. Neither fight would be a massive draw, maybe they could do them on the same bill in the uk, really get some interest going for haye/wladComment
