Yea man that's his biggest question mark/flaw. That's what I tell everyone, he's like the closest thing to a complete fighter if he had a good chin.

With roach on his side Khan can go places. I can't wait till he batters paulie and make him look like the bum that he is.
Apparently. He said he was done training and was just sitting there, then Angulo walked in. I forget who he told me he sparred with, nobody special. He also said that Angulo has the biggest face he's ever seen in his life, and that his sparring looked exactly like his fights and he just kept trucking forward.

Yesterday he called me and told me he watched Barnabe Concepcion, Alfredo Angulo, and Amir Khan all spar (all sparred different people).

He told me Khan looked amazing. First he said he was shocked at how small Khan was, that he was probably a little smaller than him (he's a 141 pounder). But he told me Khan did some training and then sparred 10 rounds against 3 different people. He told me he's never seen talent like that in person and it was amazing. He said he was ridiculously fast, but the most impressive thing to him was how vicious he was with his punches. Every time someone would throw a punch at him he would counter with like 6 punch combinations.

Found it interesting to hear about, figured I would share it with yall. But apparently Khan is looking really sharp.
thank you so much for the insight. Amir is getting better everytime. And Amir is actually a pretty big 140 lber, especially if you compare him with the other 140 lbers.

You should ask your friend if he would video tape a bit of Amir sparring/training.

He's clearly on that A-side meth. Whatever Pac is on, Amir is on too, since Ariza's also working with him. Damn, the proof is in the pudding, or should I say "shakes."

No problem, and I think my friend was referring to how big these people look on tv, then you see them and they seem so much smaller. That's what happened to me with Miguel Cotto, I couldn't believe how small he was.

I think he said he took some pictures on his phone but Freddy Roach said he wanted everyone to put their cameras away.

Amir is tall yes but he is small... He entered this training camp weighing in at 147 lbs. And he started training after months! (After the Salita fight). So, yes he is tall 5'10 but he isn't "big".

Manny Pacquiao is on PED's. Amir is not. Amir said that he is willing to do the random testing.

Amir has a lot of potential. If he had an average chin, he might be just below Alexander. And the small is somewhat interesting. Amir has a JMW frame, and as time increses and also as he move up, I think he become more impressive. 140 won't be his best weight. Just hope he can improve his punch resistance over time.

My question is, Can one mold a fighter even though he has a major flaw or seems to atleast? We shall see in the next coming months. I still believe that Amir is the one who is going to bring in crowds into MSG. If you think about it, people all over the States who love boxing know about the Wild Card. And anyone who goes there are starting to figure out who Khan is. Chances are if this kid keeps on improving he could very well inherit (Dare i say it) Pac's fans after he's gone. I mean, the signs are there; Roach said it. And He already has a following in the UK. A lot of south asian americans are starting to notice him aswell.
