U know from watching all this footage, listening to this radio and reading these boards....u would think that mosley really had a chance.

It's almost like he hasn't struggled against a mayorga, cotto, or a 1 handed collazo. U would think that floyd hasn't fought nobody and mosley is supposed to be some test. The hatred for floyd really shows and people are real ****** when it comes to floyd fight time!!!

I mean listening to some of this stuff, u would think it's floyd that coming after mosley spot and mosley has been the top dog. These fan boys is crazy!

i give him mad props for fighting forrest though..., especially when he was on top of everybody's p4p lists and could have found some little guys to beat up for years...then after he got his a** handed to him, had the nerve to get an immediate rematch....i doubt if floyd would have fought a prime forrest @ 147...we would have heard those lame "it doesn't work like that in the sport of boxing" speeches...

Well, no he couldn't. He got reamed by Larry Merchant for fighting Adrian Stone and was being given hell for his bad opposition. Wasn't like he was a draw. Plus, Forrest was the top contender. He didn't have too many options.

oh yeah fmj @ 147 never blinks twice about fighting a prime forrest...especially after fighting that murderers row of opponents he fought...a faded oscar, a 3 divisions smaller marquez, twin jokes baldy and judah?...lol

yeah shane fought a few contenders after a tough fight with de la hoya (the live dog version of ocscar)...can't say that i blame him...the man jumped up two divisions from 135 to fight de la hoya...judging by shane's character, i doubt hbo had to twist his arm too much to fight forrest...

floyd vs. anybody thats a live dog...you get the "it doesn't work that way in the sport of boxing" speil....well how does it work floyd...you gotta pass an olympic style drug test first and be on the tail end of your career?....lol

merchant did the same s**t to floyd when floyd was fighting judah, baldy, & co when he could have been fighting cotto, margarito, hatton @ 140, etc....he was in the junior welter division and left the whole division untouched...wasn't like floyd was pulling mega numbers either...when has this mayweather fighter ever put up or shut up against a prime fighter of equal talent...and please don't say ricky hatton...

I got good word from someone a couple days ago that Mosley looks very sharp in the gym. I am still a little concerned that he may leave it all in the gym but he's a vet. May 1 will be a legendary night.

funny because I heard the exact opposite in that while he looks good training in sparring he cannot get off and its fustrating him
